These net-zero carbon homes, a partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardiff.gov.uk\/ENG\/resident\/Benefits-and-Grants\/Housing-Benefit\/How-Housing-Benefit-is-worked-out\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.cardiff.gov.uk\/ENG\/resident\/Benefits-and-Grants\/Housing-Benefit\/How-Housing-Benefit-is-worked-out\/Pages\/default.aspx&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1770841829632000&amp;usg=AOvVaw20PcD-onglm9-0uBKe-8mP\">Cardiff Council<\/a>\u00a0and Wates Residential, feature solar panels and heat pumps, providing sustainable, affordable housing.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Key details about the Roath MMC project<\/strong>:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Crofts Street, Plasnewydd, Roath.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development:<\/strong>\u00a0Nine 2-storey, net-zero carbon townhouses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technology:<\/strong>\u00a0Modular construction (built off-site in Nottingham) featuring solar panels, mechanical heat recovery ventilation, and no gas connection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability:<\/strong>\u00a0Designed to be 90% more energy-efficient than standard homes, significantly reducing resident bills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Impact:<\/strong>\u00a0Part of Cardiff\u2019s efforts to become carbon neutral by 2030, with units handed over to the council for social housing.<span class=\"notranslate\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><button aria-label=\"View related links\"><u><\/u><u><\/u><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/button><\/span><\/p>\n<div>This project was the first of its kind and Joseph &amp; his team was called to help supply over 50+ roller blinds<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Solution:<\/strong> measurements were taken &amp; Roller blinds was the requirements.
